Clinical studies are not mandated for wellness companies; however, we elected to put our flagship Vemma® product and insanely healthy energy drink, Verve®, to the test. The Clinical Trials were conducted on both Vemma and Verve by one of the industry's most widely recognized experts in independent clinical testing: Brunswick Laboratories of Massachusetts.
The intention of these studies was to elevate the efficacy and overall bioavailability on immune function and well-being in adults.* This was done by subjecting the products to the highest standard of clinical research — independent, randomized, double blind placebo-controlled studies. This type of study follows a specific set of procedures to ensure the results are dependable and free from bias.
The Vemma immunity study and Vemma bioavailability study are published in two reputable journals, the Journal of Medicinal Food and Journal of Agricultural and Food Chemistry, respectively.
The Verve bioavailability study and Verve immunity study are published in the journal Food Science & Nutrition. Additionally, Verve received the seal of approval from GRAS (Generally Recognized As Safe) panel of scientific experts. GRAS means the ingredients in Verve are recognized, among qualified experts, as safe as used in the ultar-premium energy blend.
CLINICAL STUDIES FOR VEMMA AND VERVE
People taking for 30 days showed:
The purpose of the first independent, randomized, double-blind placebo study evaluated how Vemma enhanced immune function and well-being in humans.* Participants were randomly divided into two groups and received 2 ounces of Vemma or placebo each morning for 30 days. After the 30-day evaluation, the study showed favorable results in immune markers and a lowering of C-reactive protein (CRP) while taking Vemma.*
The Vemma group improved their immune function in a statistically significant way.
Red shaded area indicates high-risk range (<1mg/L) of CRP levels. White area is low-risk range of CRP levels. The Vemma group was the only group to reduce their CRP levels from unhealthy to healthy levels.
100% of the Vemma group reported that they felt improvement in their health, significantly more than the control group.
This study was designed to determine the overall bioavailability (body readiness) and antioxidant effect of the Vemma formula in the body. This trial took place over a 24-hour period. Participants were separated into two groups, placebo and the Vemma product. Before the products were consumed, each participant's blood was measured. Then, participants either received a single dose of the Vemma product or placebo. Blood samples were collected and evaluated. The data concluded that Vemma is highly bioavailable.*
The antioxidant amounts indicated show how Vemma is highly bioavailable and antioxidant rich compared to the placebo.
This study was to investigate the absorbtion and antioxidant effect of a mangosteen-based functional beverage in humans. The beverage contained mangosteen, aloe vera, green tea, and multivitamins. A randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled clinical trial was conducted with generally healthy male and female subjects between 18 and 60 years of age. Ten men and ten women participated in this study. Participants were randomly divided into two groups, treatment and placebo group. Participants received either a daily single dose (245mL) of the beverage or a placebo.
The antioxidant amounts show how Verve is highly bioavailable and antioxidant rich in vitamins A, C, E and selenium compared to the placebo group. Protect you 63 trillion cells with Verve!*
Participants were randomly divided into two groups and received a can of Verve or a placebo each morning for 30 days. After the 30-day evaluation, the study showed those who consumed Verve had significantly lowered their levels of C-Reactive Protein (CRP.)
