Who should drink Vemma NEXT?

We recommend Vemma NEXT for growing children between the ages of 2 to 12.

Why should I give Vemma NEXT to my child?

Vemma NEXT is physician formulated and designed to support the nutrition and health of children. Vemma NEXT contains a full spectrum of vitamins, plant sourced minerals, whole fruit mangosteen, vegetarian sourced DHA, fruit and vegetable extracts and other supportive nutrients. Current research is finding that our modern day diet and lifestyle is not meeting the dietary needs of our children. One recent study found that 70% of U.S. children do not get enough vitamin D, a key nutrient for bone health.^[1] The American Dietetic Association published another study that states the majority of children in their study population were not consuming the recommended servings of fruits and vegetables each day AND that fried potatoes accounted for 46% of the vegetable servings that were consumed.^[2]

What is DHA?

Docosahexaenoic acid or DHA is an Omega 3 fatty acid known to support brain and eye health*. The impact of Omega 3 Fatty acids upon overall health have come to light over the last several years due to emerging research. Researchers are finding links to heart, eye and brain health. Yet most kids may not be getting adequate amounts of DHA from common sources in their diet.

What is quercetin?

Quercetin is a flavonoid that supports overall health and is found naturally in a wide variety of fruits and vegetables*. It's known for antioxidant properties which play an important role in protecting the body from free radicals*. If kids are not getting a balanced diet that includes the recommended daily servings of fruits and vegetables, they miss out on important antioxidants such as quercetin.

What is choline?

Choline is a B vitamin relative that supports brain development*.

What is fructooligosaccharides (FOS)?

FOS is a prebiotic that helps support digestive health*. The fruit and vegetable derived molecules support overall health and well being*.

Why decaffeinated organic green tea?

My child has food allergies, are there any major food allergens in Vemma NEXT?

Vemma NEXT does not contain any major food allergens as defined by the Food Allergen Labeling and Consumer Protection Act of 2004 (FALCPA). If these allergens were contained in our products, we would be required to list them on our label.

The FALCPA identifies eight foods or food groups as the major food allergens. They are milk, eggs, fish (e.g., bass, flounder, cod), Crustacean shellfish (e.g., crab, lobster, shrimp), tree nuts (e.g., almonds, walnuts, pecans), peanuts, wheat, and soybeans.

Are the Vemma NEXT bottles BPA free?

Yes both the 32 oz and 2 oz bottles are BPA free.
